It's been awhile since I've worked on this, but once you get past the
install very little support will come from IBM, most will come from SuSE
or Red Hat, if you've purchased a support option. I'm guessing that IBM
will say that they support any current 64 bit PowerPC version that is
also supported by SuSE or Red Hat.

On the other hand, when we did this (at a former company) I don't recall
ever making a Linux support call at all. We bought an initial package
of support hours and ended up converting it to something else. We had
very few problems with Linux itself, most of our calls were about
WebSphere and were handled under PPA. At that point it's a WebSphere on
Linux call and the underlying hardware makes little difference.

Make sure that you have someone on this project who likes to read...
