Can you believe it was a simple STRTRC for SMTP. The thing went bazonkers
and had eaten 35% of disk! Obviously I wasn't going to send anyone a 70GB
Trace file so I deleted it and disk IMMEDIATELY went back to 60%. Good
Grief.

Frankie II got a disk upgrade from mostly 8 to mostly 17GB Drives. He now
has 30 17GB and 15 8GB drives turning (He's a 170). For obvious reasons
we can't get help from IBM on this but here is my problem:

From PRTDSKINF:

% of Size in
Description Disk 1,000,000 bytes
User libraries 13.04 29748.99
User directories 37.02 84463.14
Folders and documents .01 19.49
QSYS .91 2083.21
Other IBM libraries 4.16 9485.18
Licensed Internal Code 36.45 83155.51
Temporary space 2.33 5309.89
Unused space 4.99 11390.31
System internal objects .11 258.45
Objects not in a library .01 20.12
TOTAL 99.03 225934.29

Check out the Licensed Internal Code size!!!! 83GB and over 36% of the
sytem?

Any ideas where to look or what needs to be turned off to get that back??

System status shows:

System ASP . . . . . . . : 228.1 G
% system ASP used . . . : 95.1996
Total aux stg . . . . . : 456.2 G
Current unprotect used . : 5534 M
Maximum unprotect . . . : 5975 M

So it's not temp space either!

TIA
