Roger,
Sorry about the confusion! Jerry is correct that the PTFs are not
included they are shipped automatically. When you order electronically
you don't get a nice obvious set of labeled images showing which are which
but if you mount them into a virtual DVD drive you can look at the volumes
and figure out which is which. I have asked that they give an option to
NOT do this because I frequently download more recent HIPER and DB groups
and use them with a previously downloaded CUME. As a result I need to
figure out which of the images are previous HIPER and DB groups so that I
don't bother uploading those to the customer's machine and wasting time
applying them so that I can apply a newer one on top of them.....
So you know, the logic of including them is that virtually everyone who
ordered a cume would also order a DB and HIPER at the same time so why not
save everyone time and effort...!

Re: Cume, Group
OK. That makes more sense.
So from an ordering perspective, when you order only the cumulative
package, then from a delivery perspective, you receive additionally both
the HIPer and DB /groups/. The additional /groups/ are delivered even
though they were not ordered. A download is an effective equivalent to
ordering. Got it.

Perhaps the correct terminology would have been, "the HIPERs and DB
Groups are automatically included /with/ the CUME when downloaded"
not to imply that they are an integral part of the CUME itself. I
don't know where the documentation is, but I just downloaded the CUME
last week from Fix Central; all that I actually selected was the
CUME, but the HIPER and DB Group came with it. In fact, if one tries
to select other groups with the CUME F/C says, "Can't do that."
I also know that the level on my DB group changed after I applied the
PTF's (PTF menu option #12).
