The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
You're on track with the memory for sure but be careful. Be VERY careful
when you remove the dentures and insert the memory - those plastic clips
are not so solid and VERY brittle by now.
As I recall you have to set jumpers yourself as the drives and connect
them with a SCSI cable. As to mounting I seem to recall simple screws
through the frame but I've slept since then... I do believe the FC
#6713s are supported though with no protection or Mirror only. As to
V5R2... Hmmm. ...seem to recall V5R1 was last release for that thing
but.... Do you have keys for V5R2?

Modernizing a 150 - need some documentation
I know- that's an oxymoron - modern and 150 in the same sentence.
I have a 150 with the 1-6607 4GB drive and 64 MB main storage as 2-3182s.
I am getting 3-6713 *GB drives and 3-3110s to get 192MB main storage.
I see how to install the memory - I could use some pictorial instruction
on installing the drives - the single drive is scond from the top.
If this were a 170 or a 250, I have the link to this information.
Does someone have this in some form that I can see? Maybe a link - or we
can talk offlist.
Oh - will be putting V5R2 on it.
Thanks
Vern
