That suggestion did not help because it was for the wrong command - CRTCLPGM is for creating OPM CL, CRTBNDCL is for creating ILE CL.

The OPTION parameter cannot be set to a default - it is a list of options. There is no default for it defined in the original command.

You probably need to write a front end command of the same name - CRTCLPGM - and have IT call the system one with the options you want.

Others have probably already suggested that.
