At my previous employer we actually had the computer room monitored for that
after the air conditioning shutdown one long weekend. This was back in the
white box days and when we came in, some of the stuff in the computer room
was so hot you could hardly tough it. But the AS/400 stayed up. After that,
Maintenance installed a temperature sensor and a humidity sensor and it
would page them 24 x7.
