I understand, our UPS account rep is out of town on a family emergency and
will be gone for like a week or so....I really need to get this ODBC setup
and the help desk was about as useful as a two legged horse. So far I
have been unable to figure out where in the software to specify the file
on the 400 that I need to connect to so I can map the fields.

I believe the latest version is 10.0 which is what we are using.

Re: iSeries ODBC Driver issue

btw...
work with your UPS account rep. they were very helpful getting us going.

There is a help document within worldship that lists the fields.
we dumped just about everything to a flat file first, then made dds when
we were confortable with what we were getting.

It may be helpful to be on the latest version of worldship. we were
upgraded last week, and the editing and capture features are improved.

Doug,
We just set up our worldship system to send us the end of day processing

file.
You specifiy the FILE in the worldship application. within the ODBC
driver setup, you provide what user profile will be used, and what
LIBRARIES will be used.

We are getting ready to connect worldship to import and audit system i
data (well, it's on our project list anyway...)

this....however, I have not figured out how to specify the specific
iSeries PF that the driver should use.

Is anyone familiar with using the ODBC driver?
