I used to use a couple of really nifty little
utilities that I got from "System i NEWS" or "iSeries NEWS" or whatever
its' name was at the time called "Display Query Dependencies" (DSPQRYD)
and "Display Query Files" (DSPQRYF) for dumping *QRYDFN objects details
to files and reporting on them. I hadn't used these commands since
early last year when our system was at V5R2. I tried the latter
recently (we're now on V5R3) and I received no output other than the
following error message:
450 - SNDPGMMSG MSGID(CPF9898) MSGF(QSYS/QCPFMSG) MSGDTA('An
error has
occurred with the RTVQRYF program') MSGTYPE(*ESCAPE)
An error has occurred with the RTVQRYF program.
An error has occurred with the RTVQRYF program.
I'm wondering if anyone else out there uses this
utility and has encountered this problem and if so what they did to fix
it. If not, any ideas what I might do to replicate the functionality I
had?
