I've always seen the manuals at Infocenter, under the Database section, in
Printable PDFs - they are at the bottom at V5R3, labeled as Text Extenders
and XML Extenders - at V5R3 the former is V7.2, the latter is V8.

Same for V6R1 Infocenter, except the XML version is now 9.1
