The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

The fact that you have to say "even supports..." to something as trivial
as a webcam shows that Linux isn't yet ready as a replacement for
Windows.
Perhaps not for the average computer user. If you are at all
technically inclined however, you can choose to "pay" for all of the
benefits of using Linux instead of Windows. Payment in this case comes
in the form of doing a little research before you buy hardware.
That said, the number of devices that "just work" in Linux is growing
rapidly, due to increased standards compliance, an increased vendor
willingness to release Linux drivers or work with community developers
who do, and the fact that the open source drivers just tend to support
more varied hardware over time.
