If you file has field names, click on tools, then Create iSeries
Database File to activate the wizard that will create the fdf file. If
the file does not have field names or the receiving file on the iSeries
already exists, download the file to the PC, click on the details tabs
and enter the information under PC file description file to create the
fdf.

Subject: Data Transfer to iSeries
I know frustration doesn't help, but I'm frustrated... :-(
I used the "Data Transfer To iSeries" program to create a file on my,
um, system i from a tab delimited TXT file. Worked like a champ.
Now I'm trying to do the SAME thing again, but it is REQUIRING a field
reference file name. I didn't have a field reference file before, and
DON'T want one now.
How do I get past this road block?
TIA,
Dave
