Hi List,

We have a new 525 still in the box and am trying to coordinate the
install. Business partner (Sirious) says that I can not have a hot
spare disk unless using RAID 6.

I'm convinced that I can have that using RAID 5. System has V5R4M5
and a 5727 controller with 6 drives.
I would like one of them to be a hot spare.

Who is correct?
