Good one Rob,

You reminded me of the time I was working at MacDill AFB on VAX
computers. The machine needed 110 volts but the plug was different
than our wall outlets. My good assistant said he would put a different
end on the cord but he mixed up the wires.

The computer started and ran ok but we didn't know until the next day
that the outside cabinet of the machine was hot as in electrified.
Someone touched the cabinet and sparks flew. Lesson learned.
