I haven't been around/involved enough with Client B yet to know if/how they test the MIMIX implementation, but I agree with your "pinnacle" example. I used to work at a place in the late 90s that tested fairly regularly and would run for a stretch on the other box after the switch.

Client A has already accommodated the requirements of having *CHANGE on that many objects, so it's really not an issue. I just want to be sure of all of the options before they finalize SOPs.

Now I'm really curious to find out what Client B is actually doing (or "think" they are doing) with MIMIX if the OBJAUD is not set to at least *CHANGE...

Oh, and if an item is Mimixed it will be set to at least *CHANGE. In
fact, when you start a "data group" the first thing it does is change all
the objects in that datagroup to that. You will see initial programs fire
up like SETDGAUD.
