1) A way to change the default for Qry/400 so new queries default the way I want.

I did find how to do this:

In the "Define A Query" screen enter a 1 for "Select collating sequence". Select "2=Query for iSeries English", then, before pressing ENTER, press F23. This will save the new collating sequence as the users default.

Since we have about a dozen Q/400 users, I'm just going to walk everyone through that.
