Used to be very comparable.
Of the "big names" many of the same speakers. More IBMers
than outsiders at the IBM conference though.
Common's expo and iSocial has gotten better with meals but
the IBM conference supplies them all except breakfast.
Never known the IBM conference to as spread out (like
different hotels,
etc) as COMMON conferences often are.
However, it's all subject to change. Earlier this list
reported that this will be the first time in a long time that
Jon Paris won't be at the IBM conference. Now is that
because they're sticking with more IBM badges, or has the
sessions on RPG faltered?

IBM Power Conference - UPDATED
Has anyone checked the new IBM Power Technical Conference
site out yet?
IBM Power Systems Technical University featuring IBM i
(Formerly IBM System i Spring / System i Fall Conferences)

I have been pretty much a COMMON attendee recently. Can
anyone compare
the
IBM offering to the COMMON conference?
Thanks, Larry
