The networking is great. I went to a COMMON back when we had eleven
S/36's and not one of them talked together. We literally had a 5294 on
top of one to talk back to the machine at corp.
Drew up a comm plan on a bar napkin at CUDS. Really. Phased in with
short haul modems for two machines in the same room that were previously
limited to sneaker net. Proof of concept passed. Phased in Black Box
splitter between 5294 and existing box. Another proof of concept passed.
Started out on the cheap. Started getting Display Station Pass Thru, etc.
Spread like wildfire.
