The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

If you're looking at a list of objects or members in PDM with WROOBJPDM/WRKMBRPDM, you can create an option that will do "CHGCURLIB &O". This will change your current library to the library the object/member is in.

I have never found, but never asked. So maybe someone knows
something exists... Is there any /substitution variable/ available
that
enables an option defined like CC="ChgCurLib &±" to set the current
library to the name of the library in which the object resides [for OBJ
& MBR lists] *or* to the name of the library in the list [for a LIB
list]?
The "CHGCURLIB &L" will set my *CURLIB to QSYS when using WRKLIBPDM.
That outcome is not very helpful; in fact, very dangerous for me.
Seems daft to create two CHGCURLIB options to remember both what they
are and when\where to use them, or to have to write an alternate
command
or program to accept both &L, &O [and &T or maybe &B] to figure out
what
I meant.
