the boy who pointed out the emperor had no clothes. I suggested he was the
boy who cried wolf.

I don't mind mixed metaphors in fact sometimes they can be quite humorous, but
mixed parables (emperor's new clothes & wolf in sheep clothing?) - that is a
new one!
