Yes, I understand that. My point is that the *latest* release you could have compiled it was on V5R2, a release which has been out of service for nearly a year.

And then, if you (foolishly) removed observability, you lose.

I was tempted to say something like this is a good reason not to remove observability, but I remove observability on all my programs. And even so, if you removed it after V5R1, it would still have enough information to move it along. It really takes a perfect storm - code compiled to V4R5 or before, no source, and observability removed - to get you in trouble.
