Trevor, I get it. Its the WHOLE REST OF THE WORLD that not only doesn't get it, they don't even want to get it.
As you can see from the article, the writer knew the names, etc, and he couldn't get it right. I've seen you get confused about it too, but thats ok; so does everyone else.
The fact is IBM blundered. Coca Cola blundered, too, but Coca Cola had the sense to fix their blunder.
It would serve our community better Trevor, and be a whole lot easier for you, if you devoted these same energies to getting IBM to fix their blunder. Its fixable, its easy to fix, and it solves a lot of real problems.

You can rename a rose all you want, but the World is still going to call it a rose.
Maybe, for a starter, we could make "AS/400" stickers and just glue them on our midrange boxes. Perhaps you could advertise them on your website? Would COMMON sell them for us?
