Not in the same RAID set but on the same controller is OK. Most if not
all of the RAID cards support >1 RAID set nowadays. The rule of thumb
I've heard is to not go more than 1 size step apart within the same
LPAR. So that'd apply to the same controller as well (V6R1's virtual
disk aside). 35 & 70GB disks together; OK. 35 & 140GB disks together,
not so good.
