What format is the data in the text file? CPYFRMIMPF will
put IFS stream files into a database file however it only
supports standard text file delimiters such as tab or comma
with quotes around the text. I usually create an import
library and special import files that are the same layout as
the text files. I can then copy to the real database
mapping the fields over to the production file. I like to
use RPG to validate the data as well.
