There were a number of posts about the 520 and the new ups port. I could not quite figure out if when connecting an APC unit (BACK UPS XS 1500)the IBM serial cable #1827 alone is fine or if a gender changer or other adapter required. I need to ship this to a remote site for a user to install and need all parts in the one shipment.Need system on ups to use the QUPSDLYTIM for orderly shutdown. Just had an extended outageand machine dropped hard. Came back up with a hardware issue. from prev post - There is a conversion cable. It does not get selected by default. From
