The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

But HA cost lots more than a second ASP for the smaller systems and
companies that don't want the other features of HA. HA is the way to go
if you have the budget and IT staff to manage. (Which I know does not
take much these days.) Hey I am looking at moving to a HA/DR system to
our remote data center.

Subject: Re: RAID, journaling, and ASPs, oh my!
If you do a lot of journalling it is/was better to have "dedicated"
disk drives for the journal writes.
I remember that old rule of thumb. I asked about it when we switched to
our latest system, but was told it's unnecessary with HA systems. In our
case, if we had a failure on the primary system we'd switch to the
backup system (HA), instead of waiting to replace bad drives, restoring
from tape, and applying journal entries.
