Wow. I read this very differently... It seems to me to be a set of "facts"
that are connected only by this one blog entry. Shows how much the internet
is full of bull.

"If the ultimate goal is to increase server revenues by licensing
third-party brands" is nothing but speculation.

"Couple that with some of the acquisitions that IBM has made lately,.." is
connecting things that are just not connected - other than being inside the
same elephant.

How about the success of blades over the last year or so - why does he not
mention that? And how do you connect that to a spinoff for an iSeries? Fact
#1 - there is no iSeries any more. Fact #2 - the OS is what matters going
forward, and i5/OS is not mentioned in this article. So, how does this
article have anything to do with spinning off i5/OS?

Don, you need to get out more.. And stop reading speculative fiction...
