Well, it IS my money. The first time COMMON went to the Gaylord inI
Nashville, they tried to nick me for that fee when I checked out. I told
them that I had not been notified in advance, and that I would not pay it.
offered to go back to the room and retrieve the water and newspapers andgoing
return them.
I told the front desk manager to either remove the charges or he could
explain to the general manager why American Express was going to call him.
He removed the charges.
If you look at COMMON's registration page now, you will clearly see the
notification about the resort fee. I guess my point is that if they're
to hit you with that insult, why not just bury it in the price of theroom?
