IIRC, LDAs are re-used, but they should be cleared like QTEMP and the GDA.
A data area is a relatively cheap object to create.

We've got a server program that uses its job's *LDA for persistent
storage. And we've got an instance of it that's getting a polluted *LDA
from launch.
*LDAs don't by any chance get inherited from submitting jobs, do they?
