Yes. It's enough of a pain where one sits just to get native data management to open a file that *has* BLOB or CLOB fields, and if there's a way to actually access those fields through native data management, nobody's found it.

Of course, they're perfectly accessible through SQL, although as Jon said, they might have to be broken up into pieces.
