I agree that WRKDBF is a fantastic tool and I use it every day.

Having said that, I would hat to think that I would hold up the upgrade to
the latest operating system version just because of a freeware tool that
will quit working. Even if I have to go back to DFU (shudder!) I would do
that before refusing to upgrade my OS.

I know that Bill stopped his work on WRKDBF in 2005 for valid reasons
but it has still been a fantastic tool for the small one man (or
fractional) shop. If anyone has any influence with Bill and can convince

him to at least recompile WRKDBF so it will convert to V6R1 (no support,

no updates, no other bothering him) I know that a bunch of people would
buy him every drink he can down at the next Common. Might even take up a

collection and send him a six pack of each premium beer of his interest.
