Here is my question for you. Now that we know i5/OS will run on a Power
blade, what will you call it then?

We are a community that always referred to the hardware and the OS by the
same name. Now we don't have that any more... I guess we should just blame
IBM for our inferiority. Complex, that is.

Personally, I use the names AS/400, iSeries, and System i interchangeably.

The "AS/400" could be viewed as a modern system just as well as a
"System i" ... as long as the people who make the decisions are made
aware of the system. IMO, System i's biggest problem now is lack of
exposure.

And, FWIW, it's been my observation that many people view a system (or
organization) that constantly changes it's name as one that has a bit of
an inferiority complex.
