To wrap up my response, I still have no idea how to make a general
reference to the machine so I just say "i5" or "System i5".

I'm staying out of this one, but I'm pretty sure that "i5" is no longer a
proper term. Which sort of reinforces the issue that the constant renaming
has to stop.
