RE: FTP question

Depending on your name format 0 - library, 1 - IFS, you specify the
member a different way. By default the client is in Library/Object
naming. From the help on the Put command PUT MYLIB/MYFILE.MYMBR notice
the period between the file and the member.

Subject: FTP question

We need to FTP (think PUT) a file from the AS400 to a server
The problem we are having is that the member name is NOT the same as the
file name
My question to everyone/anyone is
Can the PUT command be changed so that it will PUT the file irrespective
of
the member name
or should I change the member name to be the same as the file name?
