Alan,

We use the following syntax for "put" with a file member.

put libname/filename.mbrname

HTH

Thanx,

Nick

FTP question

We need to FTP (think PUT) a file from the AS400 to a server
The problem we are having is that the member name is NOT the same as the
file name
My question to everyone/anyone is
Can the PUT command be changed so that it will PUT the file irrespective
of
the member name
or should I change the member name to be the same as the file name?

Thanks in advance
