How long does the session remain active before it disconnects? You may also
be experiencing the disconnect due to your network settings. I've had to
have network administrators change things to stop disconnecting sessions
that "appear" to be inactive.

Go look at the system values for QDSCJOBITV and QINACTITV also.

Get down into the folder containing your saved iSeries Access for Windows
device sessions. In my case, it's here: C:\Program Files\IBM\Client
Access\Emulator\Private

Right click on the device session and open it with Notepad. Here's the
statement I have right under the Telnet 5250 statement:

KeepAlive=Y
