For SEU users:

Does anybody here actually prefer setting "Amount to roll" to "F" rather
than "H"? Can they please explain what possible advantage there could be
in that setting?

Simple: Roll-half is visually confusing. Better than Roll-full is Roll-cursor ("C"). This behaves like Roll-full when the cursor is not on a source line but when it is that line is rolled to the top (or bottom) of the screen--best of both worlds.

Note that the "roll" setting also affects windowing.
