Hello all,

I am puzzeled by the following:

We are testing the LOGCMD freeware command to give QSECOFR like rights
to our help desk staff. I have made QSECOFR the owner of all the objects
use by this command and all the programs are setup with USER(*OWNER).

But when I do the following while in LOGCMD:
- STRSRVJOB (appropriate parameters)
- STRDBG of the current program of the job being serviced
I get a CPF9802 message (not athorized to the object)

If I give the *SERVICE special authority to the help desk personnel and
they try again, It works. They see the program in debug mode.

But I thought that they should adopt the *SERVICE special authority
while in LOGCMG.

We see this beavior in both V5R3 and V5R4.

Any suggestions/explanation?

Thanks
