One of our network guys FTP'd a file to me this morning. He said he put it
in "the default folder for HRUSER". There isn't a default folder for HRUSER
as far as I know. We did not set one up under "home". How do I find this
file? How do I tell this Unix guy where to put the file? (No smart remarks
please!)

Also keep in mind that, depending on how your box is set up, FTP may very well default to the IFS. We did that with one of our boxes, and it's a constant annoyance, although not a big enough one to where I've bothered to figure out how to undo what I did.
