You can always create a new lind and specify *ADPT for the adapter
Address, and then when you display the new lind, you will see the address
after it varies on.

On at 2838 10/100 Ethernet adapter, does it come with a 'hard' MAC address,
or does it use the address specified on the *LIND of the line configured to
use it? I'm in the early stages of migrating two 520s (which had 2849s) to
525s and after doing my restore I can see the MAC addresses on the
configured lines (which match the ones on the old box/lines), but can't
remember if there is a way to see a 'true' MAC for the 2838...
