On your number 2 - I have been trying to get us to upgrade for sometime
now, years. But, the powers that be, say no. They say if it ain't broke,
don't spend money and fix it.
I know there's nothing you can directly do vis-a-vis the upgrade, but
that mentality is like saying "My System/3 ain't broke so...". Or more
practically the difference between a TV that can only receive
over-the-air channels -vs- cable or dish. Or still programming in RPG
II or III. I suppose those powers that be run their personal vehicles
until all of the oil is gone; once the engine seizes up, they overhaul
said engine and start over again. After all, it ain't broke.
