Oh thank you! I promise. When I get home tomorrow, I think I'll go hug my
twin-ax terminal.

As long as you take an oath to never drink Microsoft Kool-Aid you will be
welcomed back into the i5 brotherhood.

I'm sorry. I forgot you in my last post. Can you ever forgive me?

I am still waiting for somebody, anybody, to show me browser based
software that will let me do order entry, invoice entry, or time card
entry that is anywhere close to what you can do with a 5250 based
interface.
No touching a mouse, no touching the tab key. For keying numbers and
advancing from field to field, you may use only the 10-key part of the
keyboard. Ready, set, go!
Newlook is the only package I've seen so far that permits one to do this.
Uh.
Paul?
PSC/400 has been doing this for nearly a decade. Auto field advance,
function key support, immediate conversion of lower case to upper case,
numeric field editing, the whole nine yards.
Screens converted with PSC/400 support pretty much every feature of the
5250, except in a browser and with additional support for things like
dropdowns and mouse clicks and images and all that good stuff.
