Look at Robert's signature. If he belongs to a LUG, it would be one in
Alabama. In effect, he's going to get zinged twice: Once for having to join
the Nashville LUG to get the discount, and secondly, for paying rent on his
apartment in Nashville.

Robert,
The rate difference applies to locals as well unless you belong to a local
user group in the Nashville area. If you do belong to a "currently
active" local user group then your user group representative will give you
a discount code that will offset the increased registration rate for not
stating in the hotel.
Thanks,

Trevor,
<<< this has been talked about endlessly. >>>

helping them fill that block. >>>
*My* question has not been answered. Do you upcharge those COMMON
attendees who live in the conference city? It would be illogical to rent
a room at the conference hotel when you live in the conference city.
Out-of-towners need the rooms, locals do not.
