Paul,

COMMON's Strategic Education Team were responsible for putting together a
unique combination of workshop sessions for the Fall conference. I saw a
little of that as I transitioned from the SET to the Community and
Networking group.

My perspective is that they had to schedule speakers who submitted workshops
to fit that agenda, and who were available at the time of the conference.
This presented the SET with a scheduling challenge, and they worked hard to
find the right mix for the best Focus conference they could arrange.

I think you will find that the majority of these speakers are ones who
regularly rank high at every COMMON conference, and many are regular
speakers all over. Some of them may be a little less visible, but the
content of their sessions is the highest quality. They have Paul Tuohy, Skip
Marchesani, Carol Woodbury, and Richard Dolewski - all of them are
well-known industry speakers. And you can learn PHP from Erwin Earley and
Dave Boutcher - what a blast that will be! And if you get tired of the other
stuff, Larry Bolhuis knows how to build you a Frankeni, so I bet his
sessions will be Frankentastic!

Trevor

P.S. I appreciate the plug!

While reading the Focus agenda in the latest edition of COMMON Connect I
was struck by the lack of sessions given by what I would consider to be
the most knowledgeable and popular COMMON speakers. Where are Susan
