I can only infer it is a side-effect of the apply feature delivered
as part of the QDBRPLAY API. IIRC the F-RG entry in the journal is the
old entry which could not be applied, but the new entry F-RM which
follows the old entry apparently is being applied. Is that due to the
full details of the reorg request being available in the F-RM entry? Of
course if that is all that was required, why was the RG entry not simply
enhanced long ago to record the specifics of the reorganize request?
The outcome of apply seems odd to me because I always thought the
reorganize was denied for no assurance that a reorganize performed on
code level N and environment E would perform exactly the same on code
level N+X and environment V. I will have to ask someone else.
