Does the modern RGZPFM cause journal entries to be created? Use to be that IBM recommended stopping journaling, doing the reorg, start journaling and then back up the file as the reorg could change relative record numbers and the backup gives you a clean place to restore from

RGZPFM will not cause a trigger to fire, but if you were to copy the
records, clear the file, and copy the records back in, that would cause the
triggers to fire.
