The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
You'll need to register your contract online, with your IBM ID. I
actually don't remember where I did this, that was about two years ago.
I just remember that I had to use the machine serial number, and a
number found on the contract documents, and then wait for a few days.
You can also check "WRKPRB" to see if your machine auto-submitted a disk
failure.
The correct URL is:
https://www-930.ibm.com/support/esc/viewcalls_ww.wss?view=selfreg
For HW PMRs
And
https://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/set2/ssr/probsearch
For SW PMRs
Or you could just call IBM and ask. Be sure to say "AS/400" or
"iSeries", otherwise they won't understand what you're talking about :)
Have a nice day,
Lukas

Subject: How do I look up a PMR?
I just got a disk in the mail. It's for a PMR. I didn't place a PMR,
and I
don't recall asking for any fixes, but here it is. Unfortunately, I
don't
know what the fix is for nor what machine it's supposed to go on. I
tried
looking it up on the IBM site but got lost. I think I got close at one
point. something to do with "ESR", but it said I didn't have a contract.
How can I determine what this PMR is for?
