Rob - Funny you should mention that. In my first security job back in 1995-96, I actually used to do a monthly "random" check of desktops during the lunch hour and, if the mail client was available, would send a message to their boss stating "I have violated company policy by not having a password-protected screensaver enabled" (this was before we had desktops locked down). All it took was one time and the user (and all their neighbors) got the idea!
