Run the CHGSMTPA command and prompt it with F4. Roll to
the second screen
and see if you need to make a change to the setting for
the Mail Router.
That is probably the issue.

address 192.168.2.50 not the 192.168.1.50 that is shown

So something somewhere still has our old IP address
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
