The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Create a flat file using the CRTPF command and create it in qtemp. The file
and member name will be the same. Then use the CPYF command and copy from
the first member to the first member and your data will be in your new file
with the member name as the file name.

Subject: FTP PUT
Iam trying to FTP a flat file whose name is G.USSR (member name is also
G.USSR)
Since there is dot in this file name below FTP PUT commands are not
working.
PUT LIBRARY/G.USSR (or)
PUT LIBRARY/"G.USSR"
Can some one help me with work around on it? If I copy this to another
file, I wil be still having member name(G.USSR) with dot in it.
Thanks,
Donna.
