If you decide to eschew the other suggestions then you might want to look
at the "command exit point". I wrote a program that automatically
converts SNDDST into SNDEMAIL (if it's one of the combinations that it
can). These are called after the VCP but prior to the CPP.

I also have one I doctored the bejeezus out of that came out of
iseriesnetwork. Basically if someone signs off after signing on as
QSECOFR then I want a copy of their joblog emailed to me.
